Libby and Son U-Picks is a family owned and operated farm. Our family has been growing fruit in this area since the 1950’s. We remain rooted to our traditions but also strive to grow with the future.
We have excellent "pick-your-own" Blueberries and Apples. Recently we have added Raspberry plants and Peach trees. With 9 varieties on 17 acres of blueberries, our picking season overlaps apple picking season.
Blueberry picking here starts in July, not August like popular belief.
In September you are able to pick both apples and blueberries. Our 15 acres of small trees loaded with large apples makes for easy picking. We have 15 varieties of apples. From antique apples like Northern Spy and Wolf River to new varieties like Zestar and Honey Crisp. Also enjoy our own freshly pressed Old-Fashioned Apple Cider, pressed on our farm. Homemade Blueberry Donuts are available all season long and Apple Cider Donuts are available in the fall. You will find many extras in our store such as: Kettle Corn, Jams & Jellies, Maple Syrup, Caramel Apples, fresh Coffee and more! The middle of October will bring the end of blueberry picking. The Apple picking and pumpkin season concludes on Halloween. Come view the fall foliage at its finest in the hills of Limerick.
For those of you who Love the Pick-Your-Own experience and are in fear of Libby & Son U-Picks becoming too "commercialized", you have nothing to worry about. Our goal will always stay the same: "To offer you the best possible product we can provide while still allowing you to enjoy our peaceful country setting." Our goal is not to change. We wish to expand with the products we are able to offer you; the customer.
